The Missouri Read-On Tour celebrating NEA's Read Across America has been rescheduled for May 3-7. Submit your application by March 1.

Since 1999, Missouri NEA has sponsored a state tour, celebrating NEA's Read Across America, to help inspire reading in Missouri’s youth. The National Education Association’s nationwide reading celebration takes place each year during the first week of March.

MNEA's Read-On Missouri Tour has been rescheduled for May 3-7, 2021. MNEA Pres. Phil Murray and Vice Pres. Rebeka McIntosh will inspire students, connecting reading with success in life. MNEA encourages local leaders to organize classroom activities that promote lifetime reading habits and use skits, parades, games and other activities that celebrate reading and further the message that reading opens doors to opportunities to learn and grow in our diverse world.

If you would like to apply for a stop on the Read-On Missouri Tour (which replaces the Cat Tracks Tour) during the weeklong event, please complete the tour form at www.mnea.org/read-on.

The official tour is Feb. 22—March 5, May 3-7, 2021.

Application deadline: March 1, 2021
