Our Leaders & Affiliates

Missouri NEA is truly the members’ organization.

MNEA is a true grassroots organization governed by its members. Holding membership at the local, state and national levels, MNEA members have influence at every level where important education decisions are made.

MNEA’s top policy-making body is the Representative Assembly, a group of more than 350 locally elected members who meet in November and April.

MNEA local affiliates are governed by locally elected leaders. In some areas of the state, local affiliates within a geographic area meet periodically in governance or service councils.

The executive officers are elected by delegates of the MNEA Representative Assembly. The MNEA president is Rebeka McIntosh (Grandview C-4 School District).
