PERSONAL LEGAL MATTERS
In today's complex and litigious society, having legal help for employment-related matters simply isn't enough. At one time or another, members often need legal counsel on personal matters. That's why NEA created the Attorney Referral Program. This unique service gives every member access to affordable personal legal advice.
The Missouri NEA Attorney Referral Program provides consultation and substantially reduced charges for personal legal problems. If the matter is employment-related, consult your UniServ director to see if it would be covered under the ULSP program.
All MNEA members and their immediate families are entitled to two 30-minute consultations every program year with any attorney participating in our referral program. During those consultations, any type of legal matter may be discussed. Please be aware that an attorney’s participation in this referral program is not a guarantee that the attorney can or will represent you in a specific matter or that a particular firm provides representation in all aspects of the core areas.
In addition to the two free 30-minute consultations, MNEA members and their immediate families are entitled to a 30 percent discount with participating attorneys in five core areas of the law. The numbers following the attorney’s information indicate the core areas in which they practice.
