What is American Education Week?

American Education Week—Nov. 18-22, 2024. This event presents all Americans with an opportunity to celebrate public education and honor individuals who are making a difference in ensuring that every child receives a quality education. Each day of the week-long celebration is an observance of how each member of the community can contribute to making public schools great.

Mon., Nov. 18: Kickoff Day
Tues., Nov. 19: Family Day
Wed., Nov. 20: Education Support Professionals Day
Thurs., Nov. 21: Educator for a Day
Fri., Nov. 22: Substitute Educators Day
