Learn the Skills to Become a Strong Advocate for Students and Educators.

It is more important than ever to know about the reforms being considered that impact your students, school, paycheck, and working conditions. At MNEA’s Political Academy, you will learn how you can become the most effective advocate for students, fellow educators, and how you can push back on special interest attacks at the local, state, and federal level.

Political Academy is a two-day training that will help members of all skill levels become better advocates in their communities. Each training will include learning how best to communicate a message, recruiting volunteers, and learning about how to use data to improve your local’s advocacy efforts.

MNEA is hosting regional Political Academies virtually to train educators to be effective advocates for students and strong public schools.
