New mental health challenges for educators.
After one year of life under COVID-19 pressure, educators, students, and families feel the strain. Educators must continue to find resources to meet the mental health needs of everyone in their education community.
“I am doing my best to not constantly feel like I’m in fight or flight response,” says Jennifer, a veteran Missouri educator and school counselor. “I want others to know how hard this year has been on my mental state. I worry daily that I am going to look back and feel the decisions that I felt forced to make were the wrong ones.”
