Missouri Advisory Council of Certification for Educators, established within the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education is composed of 25 members to be appointed by the State Board of Education upon the recommendation of the commissioner of education.
MNEA Vice Pres. Rebeka McIntosh (rebeka.mcintosh@mnea.org) and MNEA Teaching & Learning Director Ann Jarrett (Retired March 15, 2022) attend the meetings of the State Board of Education and MACCE. After each meeting, they write a report and may issue alerts to staff and members about upcoming policy changes that may negatively impact educators.
