(two-year term)
Spring 2027, Spring 2028
Those running for MNEA RA delegates who do not get elected will serve as alternates.

Per Bylaws: Election to the office of President and Vice President shall constitute election as first delegate and second delegate to the MNEA RA.

(one-year term)
Summer 2026
Those running for NEA RA delegates who are not elected will serve as alternates.

Per Bylaws: Election to the office of President shall constitute election as first delegate to the NEA-R Annual Meeting and NEA RA.

MNEA-R Policy pertaining to the funding of delegates:

The elected delegates receiving funding will be determined by the availability of funds in the MNEA-R budget. The Treasurer and Budget Chair will jointly develop a proposal outlining the number of delegates that can be funded and submit it to the Executive Council. If the total number of elected delegates allocated by membership numbers cannot be funded, the delegate priority order based on the number of votes received will determine the funded delegates.

Elected delegates who are not funded may choose to attend the NEA Retired Annual Meeting and NEA RA as self-funded delegates, covering their own costs.
