Educators Demand Prioritization for COVID-19 Vaccination

Every state bordering Missouri is prioritizing the vaccination of educators. Yet Missouri has not authorized the distribution of vaccines to educators statewide. This is unacceptable!
MNEA Pres. Phil Murray has sent a letter to Gov. Mike Parson calling for the immediate priority vaccination of educators because schools should be the safest places in our community. Vaccination paired with clear safety guidelines that follow scientific recommendations will keep students and school staff safe during the COVID-19 pandemic.
