The Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education announces the final stage in the 2026 Missouri Teacher of the Year competition, and five of the seven finalists are proud members of the Missouri National Education Association.
We know that MNEA members are the best of the best, but this is proof!
From a field of more than 30 Regional Teachers of the Year, the selection has been narrowed to seven excellent educators. The 2026 Missouri Teacher of the Year finalists embody dedication, creativity, and unwavering commitment to excellence in the classroom. Their work reflects the strength of Missouri’s teaching profession and the power of educators to inspire and transform their students' lives.
