Charles Smith
MNEA President

Elected to office at the MNEA Representative Assembly in April 2013, Smith began his three-year term Aug. 1, 2013. He was re-elected in 2016 for a second 3-year term. He is a teacher on leave from the Center School District in south Kansas City metropolitan area. He served MNEA as vice president for six years, after serving seven years as an NEA Director.

Brent Fullington
MNEA Vice President

Elected to office at the MNEA Representative Assembly in April 2013, Fullington began his three-year term Aug. 1, 2013. He began a second term in 2016. He is a teacher on leave from the Springfield School District.  He served as NEA Director for Missouri for three years, and held various other positions of the Springfield NEA, including vice president, secretary and treasurer.

Missouri NEA has two representatives who serve on the National Education Association's Board of Directors.
 

Lisa Kickbusch
NEA Director

Lisa Kickbusch, a teacher in the Pattonville School District, began her term as NEA director in August 2013. She has also served on the Missouri NEA Board of Directors, Legislative Committee, Summer Academy Host Committee and Resolutions Committee. She has been a delegate to many MNEA and NEA Representative Assemblies. Lisa received the MNEA Shirley Cromer Leadership Award in 2012. She has served as president of Pattonville NEA and as a member her local association's negotiations team.

Rebeka McIntosh
NEA Director

Rebeka has served on the Missouri NEA Board of Directors and as Chair of the MNEA Bylaws Committee.  She has worked locally as chair of the West Central Governance District and president of Grandview NEA. She served two terms on the NEA Sexual Orientation/Gender Identification Committee and is a Regional Director for the NEA GLBT Caucus.  She has represented members at state and national Representative Assemblies and on a variety of task forces and work groups. Rebeka teaches elementary students at the Center for Alternative Instructional Resources in the Grandview School District. Her term as NEA Director began Sept. 1, 2017.
