Capitol Action Days
Capitol Action Days are part of Missouri NEA’s comprehensive Government Relations plan to promote positive policy for public education. MNEA's Capitol Action Days are each Wednesday of the 2012 legislative session (February through May).
MNEA Board of Directors, working with Government Relation Teams and local presidents, will organize up to two Capitol Action Days for their governance district. A complete schedule of Capitol Action Days can be found below. Our efforts will make more of an impact if members from throughout the governance district attend.
Plan now to make the trip to Jefferson City to attend your Capitol Action Days. Talk to other members about attending, too. If you are not able to attend on the designated days for your governance district, feel free to contact Becky Stewart (becky.stewart@mnea.org) to arrange to attend a different Capitol Action Day. Each Capitol Action Day will start with a briefing at 10 a.m. in the 2nd Floor Capitol Rotunda area to provide you with the most up-to-date information.
Parking: The Madison Street Parking Garage (across from the Governor’s Mansion and two blocks from the Capitol) is available for parking.
