Student-Centered Bargaining and Advocacy Grant

NEA’s Collective Bargaining and Member Advocacy Department (CBMA) awards grants to affiliates to design and implement student-centered initiatives through collective bargaining or other forms of advocacy.

Grants made through the NEA Collective Bargaining and Member Advocacy Department support affiliate work all over the United States. Affiliates have used these grants to make collective bargaining a more transparent process, support students away from the bargaining table, join the Red for Ed movement, bargain for the Common Good, and advocate for the schools our students deserve.

Grants up to $50,000 have been awarded.

Eligibility: Local associations that are affiliated with MNEA and NEA are eligible to apply. This grant is not restricted to collective bargaining locals.

Application Deadline: Applications are accepted all year.
