Exploring National Board Certification Training (Online) Winter 2024

Cost: Free to both MNEA members and non-members. 

This 1.5-hour virtual session is free and meant for educators who want more information about the National Board Certification process. You will hear about what it takes to achieve this gold standard of teaching certification; what benefits you may be entitled to as an NBCT; and the support MNEA will provide to help you with the process. Attend this session to experience thinking like a candidate and evaluate if the timing is right for you to begin the process in 2024-2025.

Teachers report obtaining National Board Certification is one of the most rewarding experiences in their careers. It is a journey filled with self-exploration and examining practices that leads to more success as an educator. Many Missouri school districts recognize National Board Certification with stipends or movement on the salary schedule. 

For educators who want information about the National Board Certification process and benefits. Experience thinking like a candidate and evaluate if the timing is right for you to begin the process in the 2024-2025 school year.
