Preparing for Praxis II
Praxis II is the state licensure assessment to become a certified
teacher in Missouri. Graduating college students as well as
teachers who are seeking certification in other areas are
required to pass the Praxis II in order to qualify for a valid
license.
Missouri NEA, in partnership with its campus Student MNEA
chapters, offers two-hour Praxis II preparation seminars to
review good test-taking skills, test structure and practice
test items. Pre-registration is not required for the seminars,
and participation is free
to all MNEA members ($30 for non-members.). Bring your Missouri
NEA membership card (your current Access card) to identify
yourself as a member. If you are not a member, visit the MNEA
membership page to find out how to become a student member
or active teacher member of MNEA.
