The Missouri NEA Members Only site has undergone a facelift.
On the new site, you’ll find that you spend less time
searching and more time saving money!
Members Only is a network of more than 240,000 retail locations
nationwide offering NEA members discounts, as well as resources
for MNEA and NEA group insurance programs, legal benefits
and news on collective bargaining and recommended political
candidates. All members should register their membership card
and discover how MNEA and NEA membership adds great value
for their hard-earned money.
Let me guide you through a tour of
the new site.
To find discounts, simply type in the zip code where you
are or the name  of
city where you plan to be and select a discount category.
Or let the system search for all the merchants in the area.
Then click GO. The system will find both national deals and
local discounts at the same time, so you can browse these
offers in one convenient location.
Click on the merchant’s name, and you will be taken
to the “offers” page where you will see the merchant’s
location and phone number; a description of the discount;
and instructions on how to redeem the offer online, by phone,
or in the store by printing a coupon. You’ll find this
search box on every page in Members Only.
My Benefits: This tab provides links to
group insurance programs; your $2 million liability policy
and legal benefits; information on NEA credit cards and travel
rewards; various personal/home loans; how to save and invest
your money; and discounts on theme park tickets, entertainment,
rental cars, cruises, classroom supplies, books, textbooks,
magazines, wireless cell phone plans and more.
My Association: This tab will provide information
on collective bargaining, political action, MNEA recommended
candidates, and association tools and resources for leaders.
Members can also read electronic issues of Something Better
and other MNEA publications.
My Savings: This is a new page designed
for members to customize by saving links to their preferred
merchants under the “My Favorites” section and
saving favorite searches under the “My Saved Searches”
section. The “Show More Options” button at the
top allows you to expand your search to a 100-mile radius,
search by a merchant’s name, search by state or city,
or search only by new or special offers.
Coupons: Click on this tab to find discounts
and print coupons to more than 427 national retail merchants.
You can search by name-brand retailers, sort all retailers
by category (such as automotive, hotels, golf or shopping),
or click “Show All National Brands” for an alphabetized
list of all the national retailers. There is an area reserved
for your local discounts, too.
Travel Services: Going somewhere? Here,
you will find local travel offers and nationwide discounts
at popular chains. You can even book hotels, flights or an
entire discounted vacation online!
Online Shopping: Prefer to shop online?
Get discounts from the world’s best online stores like
Target.com, 1-800PetMeds.com, Linens ‘n Things.com,
and more. This tab also links you to an online factory outlet
store where you can find discounts up to 50 percent off the
suggested manufacturer’s price.
