Delegates adopt budget, elect leaders

Delegates to the spring Missouri NEA Representative Assembly met for the Association’s biannual business meeting April 24-25 at Tan-Tar-A in Osage Beach.

Delegates re-elected Greg Jung, MNEA president, and Chris Guinther, MNEA vice president, to serve another three-year term as the Association’s top leaders. Delegates also re-elected Charles Smith, Center EA, to serve another term as NEA director.

Among the accomplishments at the R.A. were the adoption of the 2004-2005 MNEA budget, approval of the bylaws changes printed in the April issue of Something Better and presentation of various MNEA awards. Delegates also debated the resolutions committee’s recommendations and elected representatives to the MNEA Board of Directors and the Heritage House Board of Trustees.
