MNEA-R Annual Meeting
Members attending MNEA-R’s Annual Meeting,
held in April, learn about the latest issues and help shape
MNEA positions. The MNEA-R annual meeting will be held Friday,
April 17, 2009, at the Tan-Tar-A Resort, Lake Ozark. For more

State and National Representation
Retired MNEA-R members serve as elected state and national
representatives to MNEA and NEA Representative Assemblies
and serve on the MNEA and NEA Boards of Directors.
Martha Karlovetz is
one of the 12 NEA-R members nationally serving on the NEA-Retired
Advisory Council.

represents MNEA-R members on the MNEA Board of Directors.

NEA’s This Active Life, published bimonthly, and
MNEA-R's FOCUS, published three times a year, offer
timely articles and information of interest to retirees. The
current editor of MNEA-R's Focus is Linda
