Government Relations Teams

Government Relations Teams (GRTs) provide members with a structure to support Missouri NEA's lobbying efforts in Jefferson City. Here's how they work: each MNEA governance district has a team of members who coordinate contacts with legislators, both in the Capitol and in their home communities. Each of these Government Relations Teams includes a chairperson, vice chairperson, the three members of the MNEA PAC Executive Council elected by each governance district, a federal contact for each congressional district in the governance district, at least one UniServ Director and other members chosen by the governance council.
