Missouri NEA members can subscribe free to any of these listservs, electronic mailing lists aimed at improving communications with colleagues across the state to help you in your work at school and in your association.

The MNEA list is dedicated to communicating to all Missouri NEA members. Messages about upcoming conferences and events, news and information will occasionally be sent out to keep all MNEA members in the loop.

MO-NEA-Activist supports the work of Association members, leaders and staff as subscribers share important information about the activities and priorities of MNEA. Of the available Listservs, this option provides the broadest focus.

MO-Beginning-Teacher-Network supports beginning teachers throughout their first year of teaching. Through this network, beginning teachers share ideas for successful teaching, share information about Association activities that may enhance teaching skills and help provide the foundation for a successful career as a professional educator. Beginning teachers may post questions to the list or respond to questions others post.

MO-NEA-Bullyfree-Schools facilitates communication and campaigns to prevent bullying and sexual harassment in Missouri schools.

MO-NEA-ESP offers a communication outlet for Education Support Professionals such as nurses, secretaries, drivers, aides, occupational therapist, custodians and dietary technicians.

MO-NEA-FEA provides opportunity for Future Education Advisors to communicate with colleagues

MO-NEA-HigherEDactivist facilitates networking between higher education faculty and professionals on issues of interest.

MO-NEA-Legis-Update sends you a copy of the Missouri NEA Legislative Update each week during the Legislative session.

MO-NEA-Metro-KC-Project promotes communication among Kansas and Missouri local associations in the metropolitan Kansas City area.

MO-NEACOMM is an electronic mailing list for local affiliate communications leaders. Subscribers share story ideas for Something Better and share ideas to improve local affiliate and school-community communications. This network supports local newsletter editors as well as local members who have an interest in improving communications about public education in schools and communities.

MO-NEA-NBCT provides information and support to potential and current National Board Candidates. The goal is to provide a communication forum to assist educators in determining whether and when to seek National Board Certification, to support development through the certification process and to exchange information on the impact of National Board Certification on professional life.

MO-NEA-NBPTS-Network is an electronic listserv for Missouri NBC teachers discussing the topic of National Board of Professional Teaching Standards.

MO-NEA-Retired supports communication between Missouri NEA retired members. Issues regarding legislation and upcoming events that may be of interest to retired members are discussed.

MO-NEA-Students provides a support system for MNEA student members. This is an important resource for keeping tabs on upcoming conferences and events.
