CONFERENCE REGISTRATION
| How
to Register |
The
local association president (or designee) should complete
registration online for all participants from the local.
Payment for the conference is accepted in the following
forms:
- Online
by credit card at the time of registration,
- Mailing
a check made payable to MNEA with a copy of the online
registration confirmation (Mail to MNEA, Summer Academy,
955 Gardenview Office Parkway, St. Louis, MO 63141),
or
- Submitting
a PO number online at the time of registration and
MNEA will invoice your Local Association.
Single
Room Requests and PAC Casino/Trivia night tickets can
also be reserved and paid for online by the local or
by individuals.
An "early bird
discount" of $20 per conferee applies
to all registrations received with payment by June 7,
2007—so don’t delay in making your reservations
for the best rate. |
Scholarships

Numerous
scholarships are available to cover the summer academy
registration fee for certain conferees. Download
a description of available scholarships and the scholarship
application form. Please note that approved scholarships
will receive a code to use in online registration. Locals
will be notified if a scholarship is no longer available
or is not approved, so you can determine if you want
to pay for the individual to attend. |
| Registration
Deadline |
The
registration deadline is June 30. After
June 30, additional registrations will be accepted on
a space-available basis. No scholarship
requests will be honored after June 30, and a $20 late
fee will be assessed for all registrations received
after June 30. |
| Cancellations/Refunds |
MNEA
will refund registration fees if cancellations are received
by May 31. After June 7, a $20 cancellation fee will
be deducted from refunds.
No
refunds will be made after June 30, but substitutions
will be accepted. |

Regular
Conference--Regular Fee $250*
Includes: all conference supplies, materials, facilities,
refreshments, lodging**
Wednesday and Thursday, picnic Wednesday evening, breakfast
and lunch Thursday, PAC party Thursday evening (except
for trivia and casino rooms) and breakfast Friday.
Regular Conference--Commuter Fee $150*
Includes all in regular fee except lodging.
Pre-Conference NO Additional Charge
Adds lodging** Tuesday (except
for commuters), dinner Tuesday, breakfast and lunch
Wednesday.
*An "early bird discount"
of $20 per person applies to all registrations received
with payment by June 7. (With the early bird discount,
the regular fee is $230 and the commuter fee is $130.)
A $20 late fee is added to this amount for all registrations
received after June 30. (With the late fee, the regular
fee is $270 and the commuter fee is $170.)
**Lodging, included
in the registration fee, assumes two conferees per double
room. Conferees wishing to have a single room or planning
to room with a non-conferee will be charged an additional
$44.50 per night. |
