Future Educators Associations allow students in grades 7-12
to explore careers in education, an important step in preparing
quality teachers for tomorrow’s schools. Faculty advisors
are the key to success of any student group, and this training
is designed to give you additional tools and to share successful
ideas and strategies for meeting challenges in today’s
school environment. Topics will include chapter activities,
supporting student leadership, recruitment, creating support
in your district, partnering with other groups and building
student skills.
Phi Delta Kappa is the national sponsor of FEA, and Missouri
NEA is the state coordinator.
The program runs 3 to 6 p.m. and is free for MNEA members.
Non-members may attend for a fee of $50. The cost includes
materials, refreshments and supper. MNEA encourages two or
three advisors from each school to attend. If you do not currently
have an FEA chapter at your school, please consider this invitation
to learn how you might start a chapter.
Registration must be RECEIVED by
