Future Educators Association
Advisor Training and Meeting

June 8 - St. Louis
June 16 - Kansas City

Registration form

Future Educators Associations allow students in grades 7-12 to explore careers in education, an important step in preparing quality teachers for tomorrow’s schools. Faculty advisors are the key to success of any student group, and this training is designed to give you additional tools and to share successful ideas and strategies for meeting challenges in today’s school environment. Topics will include chapter activities, supporting student leadership, recruitment, creating support in your district, partnering with other groups and building student skills.

Phi Delta Kappa is the national sponsor of FEA, and Missouri NEA is the state coordinator.

The program runs 3 to 6 p.m. and is free for MNEA members. Non-members may attend for a fee of $50. The cost includes materials, refreshments and supper. MNEA encourages two or three advisors from each school to attend. If you do not currently have an FEA chapter at your school, please consider this invitation to learn how you might start a chapter.

Registration must be RECEIVED by Monday, June 1, 2009 for St. Louis session and Tuesday, June 9 for Kansas City session. If you have questions about the FEA Advisors meeting/training, contact Ann Jarrett at 800-392-0236, ext. 1120, or by e-mail at ann.jarrett@mnea.org.

All participants must return the registration form by mail, e-mail or fax. Non-members must include a check or purchase order for $50 made payable to Missouri NEA to:
