A
one-day drive-in conference especially for Education Support
Professionals (ESP). If
you’re a school employee working as a paraprofessional,
nurse, aide, secretary, food service or transportation employee,
custodian, building/grounds/ maintenance or security personnel,
then this conference is for you.
Sessions
include:
- Sign
language for educators

Technology dos and don’ts
- PEERS
(Public Education Employees Retirement System)
- Preparing
for bargaining (participants must bring their contract,
memorandum of understanding or board policies pertaining
to their job category)
- Stress
release and massage
- 72-hour
emergency pack and food storage
- Grievance
processing (participants must bring grievance language and
be prepared for mock grievance hearings)
Car
pooling is encouraged. The registration fee will
be refunded at the conference for each registered participant
who drives at least three other participants to the conference.
Note:
Accommodations are not included in the registration cost of
this event. If you would like to make hotel arrangements two
hotels are in close proximity to the location of the ESP Conference.
